The Fortinet Network Security Analyst (NSE 5) Certification recognizes the candidate’s ability to help the organization implement Network Security Management and Analytics with the help of Fortinet Security Devices.

The only condition is to achieve at least two NSE 5 Specialist Certifications.

The candidates eligible to take up these certifications are Network and Security Professionals who are experts in managing, analyzing and reporting on Fortinet Security Devices.

The NSE 5 Certification requires any of the following two exams to qualify:

    Fortinet NSE 5 – FortiAnalyzer 6.0
    Number of questions: 25
Time allowed to complete: 50 minutes
    Language: English and Japanese

    Fortinet NSE 5 – FortiManager 6.0
    Number of questions: 35
Time allowed to complete: 70 minutes
    Language: English and Japanese

    Fortinet NSE 5 – FortiSiem 5.1
    Number of questions: 30
Time allowed to complete: 60 minutes
    Language: English

    Fortinet NSE 5 – FortiClient 6.0
    Number of questions: 25
Time allowed to complete: 50 minutes
    Language: English

The NSE 4 is highly recommended for NSE 5 certification. But it is not a pre-requisite for the same.

To re-certify the candidate must pass two out of the five NSE 5 Exams or must possess either the NSE 7 or NSE 8 Examination. The exam can be taken up at Pearson VUE Examination Centers globally.
